I guess the plastik is do bright and glossy. There are also some other differences.
The downloadable version have no textures.

In that case, if it was a demo unit shows before they announced the final name as Vita, then yeah, maybe it did say PlayStation there, instead of PSVITA. The Dev units are blank there, though. (I've got one sitting next to me, and a final production Vita on the other side of my desk.)
Otherwise, most everything else seems to match up. Interestingly enough, I've just noticed that my dev unit's d-pad buttons are solid black - they don't have the little arrows on it. Final product does, though, although on the final product, the d-pay is semi-clear, just like the X, O, etc. buttons, with the triangle graphic inset inside it. Small insignificant details, though.
